Along with building, Terri, who is a life-long resident of the Kansas City area, is a real estate agent, former educator, wife a professional home builder and mother of three children. Building Philosophy

Terri’s approach to home building is so much more than just following a set of blueprints. Through Terri’s professional and personal experiences, attention to popular trends and dedicated research, she, put simply, designs homes for the way we live today. Each home concept and every step that follows is a direct result of Terri’s knowledge and love of her craft. Her collaborative effort with a professional architect and designer from the very start is one of the many ways Terri ensures each home is planned for function and design for the family who will live there. Terri feels she has a unique advantage as a woman home builder. Women see their homes through the eyes of every family member and how our families live. “As I plan and design, I don’t want wasted space; every inch of a home needs to matter in function, design and flow. My goal is to create a warm, rich environment that flows throughout the home and balance that with functional room sizes along with plenty of storage.” Terri is involved in every decision that affects the flow and design of the home. She often sketches ideas and then meets with subcontractors to make her vision a reality. In addition to the thoughtful design planning, Terri works closely with all subcontractors to oversee the quality of the home. The results are solidly built homes with classic styling that support the needs of her clients for years to come. The difference is in the details!
